Many banks offer currency exchange services. You can order euros in advance and pick them up before your departure.
Exchange at the Airport
Airports often have currency exchange counters where you can convert your money into euros upon arrival or before departure.
Use ATMs Locally
Once in Italy, you can withdraw euros directly from ATMs using your debit or credit card. This can be a convenient and often cost-effective method, though be sure to check with your bank about any international fees.

Hotel Facts
The road leading to Castiglion del Bosco is characterized by a rugged and winding terrain, which can make navigation challenging, especially for those unfamiliar with the area. The narrow, curvy roads and steep inclines require careful driving and can be particularly difficult during adverse weather conditions. Daily driving in this area is not recommended due to these challenges, as well as the wear and tear it can put on vehicles.
While staying at the hotel in Castiglion del Bosco is not mandatory, it is highly recommended. The convenience and comfort of the accommodations provide a welcome respite after navigating the difficult terrain. Additionally, the hotel’s proximity to local attractions makes it an ideal base for exploring the region without the need for frequent, challenging drives.
Late-night travel on these roads can be hazardous. The lack of street lighting, combined with the terrain’s natural obstacles, increases the risk of accidents. Reduced visibility at night further complicates navigation, making it advisable to limit travel to daylight hours whenever possible.
